Biography

Harl Dalstrom was a professor of history at the University of Nebraska at Omaha from 1963 through 2002. He taught his last class at UNO in August 2003. He published widely in the history of Nebraska and the Midwest, including Eugene C. Eppley: His Life and Legacy (1969) and A.V. Sorenson and the New Omaha (1988). He attended North High School in Omaha. He earned both B.A. (1958) and M.A. (1959) degrees from the Municipal University of Omaha and a PhD. (1965) from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He received the Addison E. Shelton Memorial Award in 2010.
