Biography
Oskar Pejsa was born on May 9, 1896 in Uherske Hradiste. In 1915 he joined military service in Vienna, Austria, and between 1926-1928 attended Military University in Prague. From 1946 till 1948 he was a chief officer of the Czechoslovak military mission in French occupational area in Germany, and in 1948 immigrated to France and to the USA. He died on December 24, 1979.
