Gradwohl, Bernard S., 1905-



Bernard S. Gradwohl was born in St. Joseph, Missouri on April 5, 1905.  He received his A.B. degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1923 and a J.D. degree in 1924.  He received his LL.M. from Columbia in 1925.  He married Elaine Mayer on June 21, 1928 and they had two sons.  Gradwohl was admitted to the Nebraska Bar Association in 1926 and began practicing law in Lincoln.  He was an active member of numerous clubs and organizations including the American Interprofessional Institute, Open Forum Club, Lincoln Social Welfare Society, Nebraskans Say America is Beautiful Committee, and the Izaak Walton League.  He was also a member of Phi Beta Kappa and was listed in Marquis' Who's Who in America: 1980-1981.
