The oral history interview of Daniel Sheehan regarding his legal work with the Wounded Knee II trials was conducted by UNO student Sandra Baxter on December 10, 1976. Sheehan discussed at length the conditions of Native Americans' land and civil rights in the 1970s and the Wounded Knee II trials.

The oral history interview of Wallace McClellan was conducted by UNO student Sandra Baxter on March 19, 1976. McClellan was a full-blooded member of the Sac and Fox Nation of Oklahoma. His great-great-great grandfather was Black Hawk, war chief of the Sauk tribe who lead a band of warriors during the Black Hawk War of 1832.
