The oral history interview of Daniel Sheehan regarding his legal work with the Wounded Knee II trials was conducted by UNO student Sandra Baxter on December 10, 1976. Sheehan discussed at length the conditions of Native Americans' land and civil rights in the 1970s and the Wounded Knee II trials.

The oral history interview with Ralph Preston was conducted by UNO student Sandra Baxter on November 2, 1975. Preston was a member of the Omaha tribe. Preston talked about his background and role as the Native American Student Advisor at UNO for the Minority Affairs Office. He also discussed religion, discrimination, Native American heritage and pride, urban life for native people, prejudice and racism, Native American rights, and the American Indian Movement (AIM).
