Sweeney, Edward

Edward Sweeney was born in Beebeetown, Iowa, and spent the majority of his youth in hard labor after his father and some of his younger siblings died. Sweeney joined the U.S. Marine Corps during World War I and spent the war fighting in France. Once he returned to the U.S. after WWI, he worked in a variety of different jobs including for the Miami police force on eliminating gangs.
