Biography
Frances Thurber was a professor of art education in the Department of Art and Art History at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, until her retirement in 2007. She was head of the Art Education program for more than 25 years. She was a founding member of Prairie Visions in 1987. She passed away on May 11, 2012.
