Biography
Steve Shorb was dean of the Dr. C.C. and Mabel L. Criss Library from 2005 until December 2014. He oversaw the construction of the Dr. Guinter Kahn Addition to the library, the renaming of the library from University Library to Dr. C.C. and Mabel L. Criss Library, the creation of the KANEKO-UNO Library branch in the Old Market district of Omaha, and other major changes and updates to the library. Prior to coming to UNO, he served as associate director of the University of Florida libraries from 2001-2005.
