Biography
Dr. John Calvin Davis, III received his M.D. from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine in 1957. He was a faculty member in the internal medicine department at the University of Nebraska Medical Center from 1961-1997. He was the chairman of the department of preventive medicine from 1965-1971. He also served as chief of the infectious disease section from 1969-1991. He was the assistant dean of admissions and students from 1986-1995 and the assistant dean for student and minority affairs from 1995-1997.
