Biography
Dr. Cindy Phaneuf is a Professor of Theatre at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, where she joined the faculty in 1984. She co-founded the Nebraska Shakespeare Festival in 1986 and served as artistic director until 2009. She has also directed plays for UNO, the Great Plains Theatre Conference, the Rose, and Skullduggery Theatres. She served as President of the Shakespeare Theatre Association of America in 2000. She earned her Ph.D. from Texas Tech University, and her MA and BFA both from Texas Christian University.
