Biography

Jean Shannon is listed as "Associate" to Philip Boatright's "Editor" in the first five issues of Steppenwolf (1965/1966-1973/1974). She evidently married Boatright in 1968 and her 1971 University of Nebraska at Omaha MA thesis was written under the name Jean Shannon Boatright. They were divorced in 1978 according to the Omaha World-Herald (4/5/78).
