Matinee Musicale Club (Omaha, Neb.)

"Matinee Musicale Club was founded in 1924 by Mmes. A.V. Kinsler, C.W. Axtell and Howard Kennedy, all of whom were active in Omaha's music circles. The club, formed from a larger group called the Junior Musicale, met in the afternoon with musical performances by members for members. Matinee Musicale was formed on October 20, 2001 by the joining of two previous clubs: Fortnightly and Matinee Music Appreciation Clubs. The last year of Fortnightly was 2000-2001."
