Sam and Frances Fried Holocaust and Genocide Academy

The Sam and Frances Fried Holocaust and Genocide Academy facilitates the study of the Holocaust and other genocides, with the aim of understanding the lessons of the past in order to prevent crimes against humanity in the present and future. The Academy supports the University of Nebraska at Omaha's educational programs, notably the Holocaust and Genocide Studies Minor. UNO's Holocaust and Genocide Studies Minor was established in 2016 and is the first such program in the Midwest.

The Sam and Frances Fried Holocaust and Genocide Academy was previously known as the Frances and Sam Fried Holocaust and Genocide Education Fund.
