Biography

KYNE-TV in Omaha, Nebraska, is part of the Nebraska Educational Telecommunications (NET) television network and an affiliate of the PBS network. KYNE-TV is operated by UNO Television and broadcasts on local channel 26. KYNE-TV channel 26 began broadcasting in October 1965, and was the second station in the NET network. KYNE-TV ceased analog broadcasts and became purely digital in 2009. KYNE-TV occasionally breaks away from NET state programming to broadcast local programs of Omaha interest.

Scope and Contents Reflections in Time is a series of 125 interviews produced from 1979 to 2007 with former UNO staff, faculty, and administrators. Of the 125 interviews in this series, the first 73 programs (1979-1991) were hosted by UNO Professor of Communication Paul Borge and the final 52 (2000-2007) were hosted by UNO Dean of Arts & Sciences Jack Newton.
