Biography

The Chancellor's Commission on the Status of Women (CCSW) is an advisory council serving the chancellor of the University of Nebraska at Omaha on any issues relating to female students, faculty, and staff at UNO. CCSW was established in 1972 to monitor any disadvantages faced by women at UNO and to make recommendations for improvement. Members of the commission are volunteers from among UNO students, faculty, and staff.

Scope and Contents

The posters from the Chancellors Commission on the Status of Women (CCSW) and Chancellors Commission on the Status of Gender Equity (CCSGE) include those designed for the annual Legendary Leader (previously the Legendary Woman) and advertising the organization’s annual luncheon event. The CCSW was changed to CCSGE and the Legendary Woman Award was changed to the Legendary Leader Award in 2019-2020.
