Information Technology Services, formerly Campus Computing, is the University of Nebraska at Omaha department responsible for planning, acquisition, development, maintenance, and administration of all campus-wide computer and information systems for students, faculty, and staff at UNO. The department has changed names several times: Campus Computing (1982-1987), Campus Computing/Data Communications (1988), Computing and Data Communications (C&DC) (1989-1998), Information and Technology Services (ITS) (1999-2009), and Information Services (IS) (2010-2016), and Information Technology Services (ITS) (2016-present). Prior to the establishment of a formal department, UNO had a University Computer Usage Committee. UNO first established a Computer Center in 1964 in Arts & Sciences Hall, with a lab for student use.
