The College of Arts and Sciences (A&S) is part of the University of Nebraska at Omaha. As of 2014, A&S departments include Biology, Black Studies, Chemistry, English, Foreign Languages and Literature, Geography/Geology, History, International Studies, Mathematics, Philosophy, Physics, Political Science, Psychology, and Sociology and Anthropology. A&S programs include Environmental Studies, International Studies, Latino/Latin American Studies (OLLAS), Native American Studies, Neuroscience, Religious Studies, and Women's and Gender Studies. Interdisciplinary programs supported by A&S include Ancient Mediterranean Studies, Environmental Studies, International Studies, Islamic Studies, Latino/Latin American Studies, Native American Studies, Neuroscience, Medieval/Renaissance Studies, Schwalb Center for Israel and Jewish Studies, and Women's and Gender Studies.
