Scope and Contents Jazz Past-Times with Ed Jones was a 100-episode radio series which aired on KVNO from January 5, 1981 through May 30, 1983. Ed Jones created the program from his personal collection of 78 rpm records and taped radio programs using KVNO's equipment and presenting information about the musicians from his own notes and research. Limited edition ceramic mug from the Fall 1985 KVNO fundraising campaign. The campaign theme was Halley's Comet, which was scheduled to be visible in the sky during February 1986. The following is written on the mug: KVNO 90.7 Halley's. On the bottom the mug is numbered 83 of 100.

The KVNO collection is primarily KVNO and UNO Television documentaries, programs, and special events. The analog and digital media objects included the programs as aired as well as separate audio tracks, b-roll, etc. A small amount of paper records are available related to some of the productions and operations. Included is The War Comes to Nebraska, a regional Emmy-winning documentary about Madagascar, other documentaries, and programs.
