Biography

Prior to February 13, 2022, the office was called the Office of University Communications (UComm). UComm was created on March 1, 2013, from the merger of the Offices of University Relations and University Marketing. UComm included Digital Communications, Events, Marketing & Branding, and Media Relations & Coordination. UComm reported to the Dean of the College of Communications, Fine Arts and Media and to the Executive Associate to the Chancellor.
Prior to 2013, University Relations was an administrative unit of the University of Nebraska at Omaha, in charge of handling communications between UNO administration, faculty, staff, and students.
