The College of Business Administration (CBA) was established in 1931 as the Department of Business Administration at the Municipal University of Omaha. Around 1953, it was elevated to the status of College of Business Administration, and continued with that name through the Municipal University of Omaha's 1968 merger with the University of Nebraska system to become the University of Nebraska at Omaha, to the present. CBA has programs in accounting, economics, banking, finance, real estate, marketing, management, and other areas of business.
